Buyers can browse products, add them to a cart, and check out with cards, wallets, or PayPal depending on the seller's connected payment methods. After payment, buyers receive an email with secure, tokenized download links. The entire process -- storefront, checkout, payment, and delivery -- is handled by PengDrop with no coding required.

PengDrop's $89/year for 0% platform fees is significantly cheaper than Payhip's $99/month for the same 0% platform-fee benefit. Unlike Gumroad, PengDrop supports seller-routed Stripe and PayPal payments. Unlike Sellfy and SendOwl, PengDrop does not use revenue caps to force plan upgrades.

## How It Works

1. **Create an account** -- sign up with email or Google. No credit card required.
2. **Connect Stripe or PayPal** -- link an existing seller payment account or create one during provider onboarding.
3. **Set up your store** -- choose a store name, add a logo, pick a URL.
4. **Upload products** -- add title, description, price, images, and the downloadable file(s).
5. **Start selling** -- share your store link on social media, email lists, or your website.

Buyers visit the store, browse and add products to cart, check out via Stripe or PayPal, and immediately receive download links by email. Sellers see sales in their dashboard and get notified via email.

## Technical Details

PengDrop is built with:

- **Supabase** for the database and authentication
- **Stripe Connect** for payment processing (direct charges to seller accounts)

Stores are hosted at pengdrop.com/store/[username]. Product pages are server-rendered and SEO-optimized. File delivery uses secure, tokenized download links with 30-day expiry.
