What You Get with PengDrop

Every seller gets a hosted storefront at pengdrop.com/store/yourname. It's a full product catalogue where buyers can browse, add items to a cart, and check out — no coding required.

Your store includes:

• Custom branding — your store name, logo, and colour theme.
• Product pages — each product gets its own page with a description, images, pricing, and an add-to-cart button.
• Shopping cart — buyers can purchase multiple products in a single checkout.
• Category filtering — organise products into categories so buyers can find what they're looking for.
• About & Contact pages — built-in pages for your store so buyers can learn about you and get in touch.

Your store is live as soon as you publish your first product. Share the link on social media, your website, your email list — anywhere.

Adding products is straightforward. For each product you set a name, description, price, and upload the files buyers will receive. You can also add product images and organise products into categories.

• Multiple files per product — bundle several files into a single product. For example, an online course could include video files, a PDF workbook, and bonus templates.
• Any file type — PDFs, videos, audio, images, ZIP archives, spreadsheets, software — anything downloadable.
• Price comparison — set an original price alongside a sale price to show a discount.
• Rich descriptions — use the built-in editor to format your product descriptions with headings, lists, bold text, and links.

Checkout is powered by Stripe. When a buyer purchases a product, they pay through Stripe's secure checkout page. The payment goes directly to your Stripe account — PengDrop never holds your money.

• Payment methods — credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other methods enabled in your Stripe account.
• Multi-currency — set your prices in GBP, USD, EUR, or any currency Stripe supports. Buyers pay in the currency you set.
• Direct charges — payments go straight to your Stripe account. Funds are available on your Stripe payout schedule, typically 2-3 business days.
• No buyer accounts required — buyers just enter their email and payment details. No sign-up friction.

Stripe's processing fees apply (typically 1.5% + 20p for UK cards). These are separate from PengDrop's pricing.

After a successful payment, file delivery is fully automatic. PengDrop handles everything:

• Instant email delivery — buyers receive an email with their download links within seconds of payment.
• Secure download links — each order gets a unique access token. Links can't be shared or guessed.
• 30-day access — buyers can re-download their files for 30 days after purchase.
• Multiple files — if a product includes multiple files, each one gets its own download link in the delivery email.

You never have to manually send files. Every purchase is handled automatically, whether it happens at 2pm or 2am.

Your seller dashboard gives you a real-time view of your business:

• Revenue overview — total revenue, sales count, and average order value at a glance.
• Order history — every order with buyer email, payment status, product purchased, and download activity.
• Revenue charts — visualise your sales over time with daily and monthly breakdowns.
• Top products — see which products are selling the most.
• Store views — track how many people are visiting your store and product pages.

Both you and your buyers receive email notifications automatically:

• Buyer confirmation — buyers get an order confirmation with their download links immediately after payment.
• Seller notification — you get an email every time someone buys one of your products, with the order details.

Emails are sent through PengDrop's delivery system. You don't need to set up any email tools.
